About

Larry Wayne Jackson is a writer, and director specializing in fashion campaigns.

After restoring a 19th century photo of his great grandfather, his work became anchored in Black Dandyism — a cultural movement in the United States. Following the American civil war, his family used fashion to assert agency, and reclaim their identity as free men.

Larry Wayne earned a BFA in digital filmmaking from New Mexico State University and developed his craft through years of production work. He contributed to projects for Peacock, Netflix, Discovery +, and Spotify.

His practice spans fashion, film, and narrative storytelling. To Larry Wayne, fashion goes beyond appearance — it is a visual language that bridges together culture, identity, and the higher realm of humanity.
